This past weekend at Age Group Long Course State we officially ended our Summer 2010 Season! Representing MIST in the 10&Under Events were McKenna Bradley and Michaela Diem.
McKenna Bradley, who qualified in the 50 meter Breast and the 100 meter Breast finished 13th in the 50 Breast & 14th in the 100 Breast.
Michaela Diem had the highlight of the weekend placing 5th overall in the 10 & Under 100 meter Freestyle. Qualifying, with a time of 1:18.52, she swam her 5th place race with a time of 1:15.54 earning her a spot on the podium! She also swam the 50 and 100 Breast placing 14th & 25th respectively, and the 100 Fly giving her a place finish of 22nd. She also swam both the 50 and 200 Freestyle finishing 14th & 21st respectively.
Overall we had an awesome time competing at State, wrapping up our Summer Season.

USA Swimming is the national governing body for competitive swimming in the United States. It has the job of selecting the United States Olympic Swimming team and any other teams which officially represent the United States, such as Pan American and Pan Pacific Teams as well as the overall organization and operation of the sport within the country. The national headquarters is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the U.S. Olympic Training Center. MIST has been a USA team since 2005 and is a member of the Indiana Swimming Organization. The Indiana Swimming Organization administers locally the programs of USA Swimming. Yearly, USA Swimming and Indiana Swimming charge a registration fee.
